We are excited to be partnering with the Residence Inn Marriott Berkeley for a Drink, Dine, and Donate event at their rooftop lounge Study Hall on Monday, October 23rd. 10% of all proceeds from the night will go to support Insight Housing.

Indulge in delectable dishes and cocktails while making a difference. All checks from the evening will support our mission.

When and where is the event taking place? 

The event will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 4:30pm – 10:00pm at the Study Hall Rooftop Lounge, at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The hotel is located at 2121 Center Street in Berkeley, between Oxford Street and Shattuck Avenue. 

Is parking available at the venue?  

There is paid parking and valet parking available at the venue. Street and garage parking is available nearby.

What public transportation is available to get to the venue?  

Public transportation is plentiful and encouraged. Residence Inn is a short walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station, with a variety of bus lines dropping off nearby as well.  

Is there bike parking?  

There are bike loops on the sidewalk outside the venue.  

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?  

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. 

What is the dress code for the event?  

The dress code is casual and comfortable, whatever makes you look and feel your best. Dress warmly, as it can be chilly and windy when the sun goes down.

What can I expect from the event? 

You are welcome to attend at your leisure, and be seated at your own private table or in our reserved section. You can engage with our staff and ask questions, but it is not required. 10% of all proceeds from every check that night go to support our mission.

Who can attend the event?  

The event is free to anyone in the community who is interested in supporting our work, dining out for the evening, and/or speaking with our staff.

Are there any age restrictions for attendees?  

No, but we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult chaperone. We reserve the right to decline entrance to unaccompanied minors. 

Are there any special dietary options available?  

Yes, Study Hall is a number of gluten-free and vegan options available. You can learn more via the menu on their website.

Can I bring a guest to the event? 

Of course! You are welcome to bring as many guests as you would like.

If I can’t attend, may I still donate in honor of the event?  

Yes, you can make a donation on our website portal at insighthousing.org/donate and make a note about the event when making your donation.
