Formerly Berkeley Food & Housing Project
We are very excited to unveil our three-year strategic plan for the agency. This plan is the result of a year plus process of strategic planning in which we gathered input from our clients, staff, donors, board of directors, and funders.
Out of this process, we identified three main strategies to focus on over this time: Growth, Balance, and Advocacy. With our mission and our values of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Community, and Transparency at the core of our work, these three strategies — and the plan for how to get there — will guide the decisions we make for the agency over the next three years. This will include the development of Permanent Supportive Housing to serve the most marginalized populations.
As part of this strategic plan, the name of the agency changed in May of 2023 from Berkeley Food & Housing Project to Insight Housing. This name change reflects our programmatic growth and geographic expansion. The strategic plan document was redesigned to reflect the new name and brand, but the plan has remained the same.
