#GivingTuesday – Join the Movement with Insight Housing
Support Your Neighbors this Holiday Season
As the world gears up for the season of giving, we invite you to pivot from the shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday to the generosity of #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday is an international day of giving that occurs on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Individuals, companies, and organizations come together to celebrate generosity and give back to their communities. Closely following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday shifts our focus to charity and generosity, reminding us all of the importance of giving.
This year, #GivingTuesday is on November 28th. We are hoping to raise $15,000 so that we can deliver holiday gifts to our residential clients and ensure they each have a special holiday meal and roof over their head this season. The end-of-year giving season is crucial for our budget, and helps ensure all of our clients have a happy holiday season.
How to Participate:
- Donate on Facebook, Instagram, or on our website on November 28th
- Start a fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram – we’re @insighthousing but may show up as Berkeley Food & Housing Project! (Here’s how-to guides for Facebook and Instagram)
- Share your connection to Insight Housing on social media. Share the story of why you support Insight Housing – tag us and use the hashtag #GivingTuesday!
