#GivingTuesday is an international day of giving that occurs on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. Individuals, companies, and organizations come together to celebrate generosity and give back to their communities.
This year #GivingTuesday is on November 27th, and BFHP is trying to raise $2,000 to make the holiday season a little warmer and more comfortable for all those we serve. Our full-time Outreach Team will be handing out items such as socks, gloves, rain ponchos, and non-perishable foods to those living outdoors this winter.
Your Donation Can Have Extra Impact on the 27th: In support of #GivingTuesday on November 27, 2018, Facebook is partnering with PayPal to match up to $7 million in donations made on Facebook to eligible US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
