Expanding Veteran Services to San Francisco
BFHP is excited to announce the expansion of our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) programming into San Francisco!
San Francisco will be the 7th Northern California county BFHP is operational in and will serve an additional 250 Veteran households per year. In partnership with the US Department of Veterans Affairs, BFHP services will include: outreach, housing counseling and searches, landlord outreach and mediation, rental, and utility assistance, moving and transportation cost assistance, emergency housing and general housing stability assistance, healthcare navigation, and childcare financial assistance. Through a network of community providers, we will also provide legal services directly related to housing stability, assistance obtaining benefits, employment and workforce development, healthcare, mental health, and substance abuse services.
