Employees of the Quarter!

Please join us in appreciating the winners of our quarterly Employee Recognition Program! Each quarter we celebrate BFHP staff members who go above and beyond to help us carry out our mission. 

Jonathan Mendieta, Staff Accountant, Finance Department 

Jonathan brings a great attitude to the workplace. He provides excellent customer service to outside vendors and internal staff, always with a smile.  His positive attitude and work ethic really helped us catch-up on and clean up our Temporary Financial Assistance payment process which is the life blood of client grant spending. Thank you for your contributions to the Finance department and for brightening up our day, Jonathan!  

Lisa Hoff, Case Manager, Roads Home Solano 

Lisa is always giving more than what’s required, which results in a great client-provider relationship. Her attention to matters, even in the busiest of times, helps successfully resolve any barriers or issues. Her file upkeep is exemplary, as is her submissions of Temporary Financial Assistance on her client’s behalf. Lisa’s timely follow-up and follow through continues to benefit BFHP and the Veterans she works with. Way to go Lisa! Thank you for all that you do.  

Fatima Fuentes, Program Manager, Roads Home Contra Costa 

Fatima consistently provides suggestions, solutions, and advice that benefits not just the client but the entire department. She is always willing to provide support whether it’s her area of expertise or not. Her site has reduced the number of client hotel stays (great team, work!), and she consistently supports the efforts to ensure Case Managers are connecting with Housing Navigators. The Contra Costa team is grateful for her leadership style. Great going Fatima! Thank you for all that you do and for your efforts to enhance our processes.
